OBS Setup Guide

Add a professional baseball scoreboard overlay to your live stream in minutes. This guide works for OBS Studio, Streamlabs, vMix, and any tool that supports browser sources.

Step-by-step setup

  1. Add a Browser Source: In OBS, click the + button in the Sources panel and choose Browser Source.
  2. Paste the streaming URL: Use https://baseballscoreboardonline.com/?stream=true to hide controls for a clean overlay.
  3. Set size and FPS: Start with 1280x720 or 1920x1080 at 30 FPS. Resize or crop the source as needed.
  4. Position the overlay: Drag the scoreboard into place, then lock the source to prevent accidental moves.

Recommended settings

  • Width/Height: 1280x720 or 1920x1080
  • FPS: 30
  • Control-free overlay: Use the ?stream=true URL parameter
  • Theme: Choose a high-contrast theme in Settings for better visibility

Troubleshooting

  • Overlay looks blurry: Match the browser source size to your canvas resolution.
  • Controls still visible: Confirm the URL includes ?stream=true.
  • Can’t edit scores: Use the main site view to update scores, then return to the overlay view.
